I’ve done many interesting things in my life: Military intelligence. Ad agency researcher. Top 1200 Financial Broker (according to Barron’s anyway). Vice Chair of the World Future Society. Lecturer. Philanthropist. Fisherman.
I’ve written about a million articles, opinion pieces, and blogs.
But I’ve never written a book. Until now.
In just a few weeks I’ll be launching Reflections of a Futurist. It’s hard to read the label when you’re inside the bottle.
What inspired me?
I knew there was a huge gap in how people and organizations look out into the future. Most businesses plan out a few quarters, and government (especially now) a few days or weeks.
My goal—to help folks think like a futurist—like I’ve done for the past many years. I share practical tips for looking ahead, identifying patterns and trends, learning through unexpected sources, thinking more creatively, and more. Plus, I share my own thoughts for the future in a variety of areas including investing, climate, healthcare, food and agriculture, population, and other relevant topics.
Reflections of a Futurist will be ready for pre-order very soon!
I hope you’ll check it out and share with others in your network who you think might find it interesting.
And as always, please let me know what you think. I love a lively discussion.
